I don't think very many of of you knew, but I was at camp Manitoumi in Illinois July 13-18. The camp is smaller than IRBC and doesn't have a lake or anything, but I really like it. They just added bathroooms, showers and air conditioning to most of the girls cabins (Which there is twelve of, I think) and will be working on the boy's cabins next. We got new bunks, too, so no graffiti.

The theme this year at Manitoumi was "The Wise Shall Shine".

Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

That was our theme verse. I don't know exactly how many people got saved at camp, but I know that one girl from our team excepted Christ - please pray for Alex, as a new christian.
The speaker was Pastor Brant Vanhooser, and I think he helped Bailey a lot - she told me that she was "perplexed with herself" because she had been spending more time reading popular books and stuff that she was spending time in God's word. There was a point where Bailey told me she was going to camp, then she wasn't going to camp, then she was, and then she wasn't again. In the end, she came, and I think she's happy she did. I'm happy she did, too.

Anyway, I learned a lot, and so did the people in my cabin and team. I brought home a handful of prayer requests, one that I told.

PPS There is also an invisible fish. I'm serious!! It's the same color as the background!! It's name is Cole. You'll notice that if you put down food it sometimes gets eaten before any visible fish eat it...

Prayer Requests

I sent that prayer request email a while ago and only two people replied. Beth had already told me her request. She had said to pray for camp, and a lots of camp will still be going on this summer. Including Jr. high camp, which most of you are going to to. Yay!! It's one week from tomorrow!! Anyway,

--Pray for camp.

--Jinwoo from Molly's orchestra. School's out and she hasn't seen him for a while and probably won't until High School orchestra. He claims he goes to some kind of church, but is one troublesome bean who swears a lot :/

--My family. Most of you know what's going on. You can ask me questions or whatever. I don't care. If you don't know what I'm talking about, ask me at church sometime.

The Game

I lost The Game.

Ha!!! And YOU just lost the game too!

The Game is this game called "The Game" and if you think of "The Game" then you lose the "The Game" and if you lose "The Game" you have to announce out loud that you lost "The Game" resulting in everyone around you losing "The Game" as well. You can only lose once every ten minutes. You can also do the sign instead of announcing out loud that you lost. Actually, I think Harry made up the sign, I don't know. Did you Harry?? Or did you find out about some other way?? Whatever.

Now you know.

And now your life is going to be ever overrun with knowledge of The Game.

You can't quit.

There's no hope.

It's too late.

There are two-year-old children I've met that lose The Game.

It is taking over the world.

How can we stop this terrible crisis?
